What you see in a dog trainers photos is what you can expect to receive for your money and is a reflection of the dog trainer's education and competency.

I always look at the dogs' faces and like to see trainers with affectionate, friendly dogs. Of course the trainer's dog should be trained, but I always feel let down unless the trainer has lots of dogs.

I don't buy the argument, "You don't need to be a chicken to know about eggs," as it pertains to dog training. If you have not owned dozens of dogs and have not owned a dog pack---you cannot possibly possess the skills or knowledge necessary to teach other people to get the results you see in my pictures.

It's a no-brainer what it means when a dog trainer has no photos on their website to prove their training actually works. Book deals, dogs jumping off docks, references, hosting radio shows, memberships, testimonials, paid-for certifications are not photos.

I paid dearly to learn what I know and teach. I am not special. My clients often get the same results as me.

I am not a "Dog Whisperer." That implies one has innate and extraordinary ability with dogs. What I teach is a method with a curriculum that works without David Baron or the trainer present, off leash, without food-bribery, and definitely without using anything ridiculous like clickers, shock collars or Gentle Leaders.

I am very pragmatic and get bored easily when things don't work. I'm from the school of either it works or it doesn't. I personally guarantee the results you see in these pictures with your dog too if you do what we say and practice a few minutes every day.

I like what we are doing and so do our clients because what we do works. More importantly, the dogs seem much happier with a strong, confident owner that looks and acts like a leader to them.

We aren't the kind of dog trainers that tell you that our way is the only way, and that everyone else is wrong. We will tell you everything everybody else is doing too if you want; however, we will recommend what works and gets results.

We respect the opinions of others, but do not agree that there is always more than one way to accomplish certain things. I'm from the school where the Gold medalist is the winner and Silver and Bronze medal holders are losers.

My experience with dog training has pretty much exceeded anything I ever could have dreamed of. I see a world where there are dog trainers in almost every city who can help even the most stubborn, dominant and aggressive dogs--a world where people train aggressive and dominant dogs instead of euthanizing them. I see happy times ahead not just for dog owners, but for many who will heed the call to be a dog trainer like I did.
